Turner’s longest day of golf for MacMillan Cancer

By Louise Skinner

Glenn Turner has been challenged to play his longest day of golf to raise money for MacMillan’s Cancer charity. The event will take place at four Royal golf courses over the UK over an 18 hour stint.

Professional golfer Glenn Turner is the Guinness World Record Holder for playing 381 golf courses in a year and plans to raise over £100,000 for MacMillan Cancer Support through this exciting charity event.

The event will take place on 26th June on four Royal Golf Courses, with a 4:00AM start in Royal Portrush, Northern Ireland and ending in Royal Hoylake, Liverpool at 10:00PM, before dark.

Turner will play a local celebrity at each course and be transported to each location by helicopter and plane.

MacMillan hopes that their Longest Golf Day fundraiser will raise more than £350,000 to help provide expert care and emotional support that makes a real difference to people living with cancer.
