The new Ping Rapture V2 fairway wood is a bit of kit lots of you will want in your bags this year, believe us, we’ve just hit it!
As you may know the Ping G10 fairway won last year’s fairway wood test and the Ping Rapture V2 has done well to follow its design lead. With a shallower face it sits much better behind the ball, inspiring confidence off the ground.
For starters, it’s fitted with 16 degrees of loft, whereas most 3-woods come in a 15-degree loft. This made it easy to get the ball airborne off the deck as well as off the tee. And if you’re not that comfortable with your driver off the tee, this is certainly a decent option.
The Ping Rapture V2 fairway wood is available in 3, 4, 5 & 7 woods and will be priced £185 when it comes out this autumn.
