The peace and quiet of a Lincolnshire golf club was shattered recently when TG staged a race to find the fastest way around a course.

We took a normal buggy, a fold-up buggy, an electric trolley, a three-wheeled trike and a stand-on Segway around Rutland County Golf Course to find out which is fastest.

TG’s gear guru Simon Daddow – who took the safe decision to walk – said: “I was about to hit an approach shot and some idiot on a Segway came speeding past! By the end of the round I was a good half-hour behind everyone else – but at least I shot the lowest score.”
