Golf fans can watch the crucial weekend action at the European Tour’s prestigious BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth on May 24-27 on the cheap. Adult weekend tickets for the Tour’s flagship event are available until May 1 at the discounted rate of £36 – after that date, tickets will cost £45.
Another big boost for golf fans who prefer to watch the action ‘live,’ is that admission fees for the BMW PGA Championship’s star-studded Pro-Am Day on the Wednesday (May 23) have been waived by the Tour, allowing spectators to watch the stars and golfing celebrities free of charge.
Weekend ticket prices for senior citizens, disabled fans and juniors (under 16 on April 30, 2007 and accompanied by a paying adult) will be £15 before May 1 and £18 afterwards.
The eagerly-awaited BMW always attracts a strong field and will see Ryder Cup star David Howell (pictured) defend his title over the West Course.
