Callaway iX secret golf ball

Callaway are testing a new golf ball they say could make a big difference to our games.

The prototype golf ball, the Callaway Tour iX has a distinctive and quite different feel to that of a traditional top quality ball such as the Titliest Pro V1.

Ernie began testing the ball this week and Callaway are keeping a close eye on how it performs as it is planned for launch in 2008.

The images are of Ernie’s own allocation of balls, which he is using as we speak and Today’s Golfer will be first with any developments as testing of the new golf ball continues.
