If you live in the West Midlands and have been thinking about taking up golf, then April 24 could prove a very significant date in your diary. For that’s when Ansty Golf Centre in Coventry is holding FREE Golf Coaching taster sessions for beginners.
The sessions run from 11am-1pm and continue on Tuesdays through May. They’re are open to everyone and to book a lesson, all you need to do is telephone the club on 02476 621341.
FREE Golf Coaching is an English Golf Union (EGU) / English Ladies’ Golf Association (ELGA) initiative which has been developed to help people get into golf. It has been running for a number of years and has introduced thousands of beginners to golf and golf clubs.
Beginners of any age, gender or background that want to experience golf for the first time can simply register with a participating venue and receive a FREE golf coaching taster session with a PGA Professional.
Balls and clubs are provided free of charge and participants all receive information on a variety of initiatives aimed at continuing involvement in golf. For a full list of participating golf clubs visit www.getintogolf.org
Free golf coaching for beginners is just one of several initiatives within the ‘Get into Golf’ grass roots structure developed by the EGU and ELGA and supported by the England Golf Partnership.
