HOW TO MAKE YOUR HANDS WORK TOGETHER…

PGA pro Dan Frost, Swingers golf driving range, shows you how to make your hands work together in your golf swing.

STEP ONE
One common fault many people come across everyday in golf is in their grip during the swing. As they swing, their hands tend to come apart and lose the grip making the club twist and turn. This also makes the ball fly off in all sorts of directions.

STEP TWO
Take the club in your left hand oin the normal grip position. Place a pound coin on top of your left thumb and as you put your right hand on to of your hand, trap the coin in between your thumbs. This will make the club feel much more secure.

STEP THREE
Practice your swing with the coin in position so that you can get a feel for the hands staying together and being more connected.

STEP FOUR
Then, move onto kitting a golf ball with the coin in place. Notice how connected your hands feel and how different it feels when youstrike the ball correctly.

STEP FIVE
Not only will this tip keep your hands together but it will also hinge your wrists better and put your arms, forearms, wrists and hands in better alignment for the swing.
