Many golfers think that because they have a good impact position, this automatically means their impact position will be spot on too. But it’s important to understand how the impact position differs to the set-up, as TG Elite Teaching Pro Adrian Fryer explains in this golf video tip.

Coming into impact, the hips shift laterally towards the target creating leverage and consequently more forward lean in the shaft. This is what helps exert pressure into the back of the ball for increased distance on your iron shots.
