High tee drill

Not only will your free tees and ball marker with this month’s copy of Today’s Golfer come in handy on the course, they can also help you play better golf!
We’ve compiled a series of exclusive video tips and drills using your free gifts to fix common faults and help you hit the ball longer and straighter, as well as sharpening your short game.
To achieve the correct ‘inside’ approach into the ball, the right shoulder needs to be lower than the left coming into impact. Slicers of the ball have a downswing movement that is dominated by the upper body, where the right shoulder works over the top creating a steep, ‘chopping’ action.
By hitting balls off a high tee, you are naturally encouraged to hit the ball on the up, which activates the lower body and improves your angle of attack for longer and straighter golf shots.
