Cut Your Score – Hit the ball low

Get your golf ball cutting through the air with a nice, low trajectory and you can swerve beneath any trouble. This shot will also put a touch more control and accuracy into your approach.

Nick Clemens has an easy drill to help you keep your golf ball flight height low and all you need to do is make a few small adjustments to your set up.

By placing the golf ball further back in your stance and by controlling your swing plane you can ensure that the ball stays low and straight – the punch shot you’re after when playing out of trouble or in high winds.
