Flop shot over a bunker

You would have preferred your ball to run in the bunker but unfortunately, you find yourself just wide of the bunker, with the sand in between yourself and the green.

The high risk choice would be to flop the ball high, giving you more chance of stopping the ball by the pin. The safer option is to play a normal chip shot over the bunker, but this will leave a lengthy par putt. Consider both options and choose the shot that’s right for you!
