Chip from a bare lie

It’s a lie we all hate but one that often crops up on the UK’s golf courses, especially during the summer months. In this golf video tip, Today’s Golfer Elite Teaching Pro Nick Clemens gets you using the right club and ball position to rescue you from this difficult position.

Remember, a hard, bare lie means the club will bounce off the surface, which means getting a solid strike using a sand wedge will be an almost impossible task! Follow Nick’s tips and you’ll be able to knock it close from this tough spot every time.
