Gauge the green speeds with this warm-up putting drill

In this video TG Elite Teaching Professional Steven Orr shares a simple drill to help you quickly find the pace of a green in the short time you have before you tee off.
He starts by setting up a number of balls at various distances from the fringe, before putting them to the edge of practice green.
By putting to the fringe rather than a hole, you will not be disheartened before your round if you don’t roll any putts in, and by putting each ball from a different point, you are replicating situations you will get on the course.
