Practice with a sawn-off finish

A common fault amateur golfers suffer with is when the arms become disconnected from the chest in the followthrough. This movement produces severe problems with strike that need to be addressed if your scores are to improve.

So as a practice drill, try holding a sawn-off follow through when working on your iron play. This helps the arms stay connected to the chest for longer, producing more centred strikes. Then take that same feeling to the course.
