Hit the ball at the right time

A lot of coaches talk about the feeling of a late hit in the downswing. By this, they mean storing the angle in the wrist so that maximum clubhead speed can be delivered at impact through their unhinging.

But those who become too obsessed with this idea could find themselves sliding with the legs and leaving the clubface open at impact because the wrists haven’t fully unhinged in time.

In this golf video tip, TG Elite Pro Adrian Fryer shows you a couple of drills that will help you hit the ball when the clubhead is moving at its fastest.
