Bury left foot only fairway bunker tip

When playing from fairway bunkers, it’s important to try and sweep the ball from the sand and not hit down on the ball too much. When you do this, you risk taking too much sand before the ball, causing a dramatic loss of distance.

In this golf video tip from TG Elite Teaching Pro Gareth Johnston, we show you how burying your left foot only in the sand at address helps to level the shoulders, promoting a shallow angle of attack. With this in place, you’ll gain those crucial extra yards from fairway traps.
