US Women’s Open 2024: The full field and how they qualified for the season’s second major

The full breakdown of the players competing at Lancaster Country Club and how they qualified for the US Women’s Open?

World No.1 Nelly Korda will arrive for the US Women’s Open as the overwhelming favorite to claim a third major championship and an astonishing seventh title of 2024. We’re not even in June!

To do so, however, the dominant force in women’s golf must battle past a further 155 at the Lancaster Country Club that saw 1,897 entries for the 79th running of the event – its second-highest to date.

“Lancaster Country Club and the surrounding community is truly excited and very supportive of bringing the U.S. Women’s Open back to central Pennsylvania, said John Bodenhamer, USGA Chief Championships Officer.

“The number of entries represents the worldwide interest in competing in this championship, the pinnacle of women’s golf. This classic course will test the game’s best players.”

Chun In-gee last won the US Open when it was held at the Lancaster Country Club in 2015
