Tiger Woods has confirmed long-standing rumors that he and Vanessa Trump are in a relationship.

In an post on his social media platforms, the 49-year-old wrote that “love is in the air” alongside photos of the pair.

“Life is better with you by my side!” he added. “We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”

Woods and Trump, 47, had been secretly dating for months, according to reports.

Donald Trump Jr – Trump’s ex-husband and eldest son of the US president – is said to be “cool” with the relationship. His sister, Ivanka, posted a comment under the post on Woods’ Instagram page that simply read: “So happy for you both.”

Meanwhile, Woods’ ex-wife and mother to his two children, Elin Nordegren, is said to have a had a more humorous response to the news.
