Scottie Scheffler will defend his title against the 2025 Players Championship field.

Want to know who’s in the Players Championship field? You’re in the right place…

The 51st edition of the PGA Tour’s flagship event is upon us and the Players Championship field is shaping up nicely.

The Players takes place every March over the stunning Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, near Jacksonville in Florida.

It is generally considered the “fifth major”, and carries the biggest prize purse in golf at $25 million, as well as the largest winner’s share, $4.5 million.

The winners’ circle is also a who’s who of the very best in the game, including Jack Nicklaus, Ray Floyd, Lee Trevino, Fred Couples, Tiger Woods, Adam Scott, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and Greg Norman – who holds the tournament record of 24-under-par.

Nicklaus holds the current record for the most wins, with three, but defending champion Scottie Scheffler will be looking to match that this year by winning it for a third straight year.

Outside of the PGA Championship, The Players generally features the strongest field in golf. Before we get to who’s in, let’s find out how they get there…
