Who is Scottie Scheffler wife? Meet Meredith Scudder

They say behind every great man there’s a great woman, which leads us nicely onto the question: Who is Scottie Scheffler’s wife?
He is comfortably clear at the top of the men’s world rankings, but who is Scottie Scheffler’s wife?
At the time of writing, he is a two-time major champion having won the Masters in 2022 and 2024 and is expected to add many more of the sport’s marquee events to his roll of honor.
Such is his level of dominance, some have compared Scheffler to Tiger Woods in his pomp, but it remains to be seen whether he can enjoy the same longevity to challenge some of the game’s longest-standing records.
Off the course, things appear just as rosy for the 28-year-old.
Who is Scottie Scheffler’s wife?
Scheffler married his long-term girlfriend, Meredith Scudder, in December 2020 in Dallas, Texas. The pair started dating after meeting at Highland Park High School in Texas and the rest, as they say, is history.
“YES! I can’t believe God gave me my best friend to spend the rest of my life with, can’t wait to be your wife, Scottie!!!!” Meredith posted on Instagram after getting engaged.
Such has been Scottie’s level of success, Meredith has become a prominent figure on the PGA Tour.
But away from golf, she is the director of curating opportunities at Behind Every Door (BED), a nonprofit organisation that helps youths in underdeveloped neighbourhoods in the Dallas area.
The pair are relatively private and prefer to spend time between tournaments at home watching episodes of The Office.
Do the Schefflers have any children?

Scheffler and Scudder have a son, Bennett, who was born in May 2024.
In fact, the arrival of his first child was the only thing that appeared able to stop Scheffler from winning his second green jacket.
The Texan admitted not even an impending Masters victory would stop him from being by his wife’s side for the birth of Scheffler Junior.
He touched upon it after he sealed a four-shot win at Augusta National in 2024.
“I’m coming home!” he said after clinching a second green jacket. “I’ll be home as quick as I can. I love you and I’m coming home.
“I wish I could soak this in more but all I can think about is getting home as soon as I can.”
He added: “When it comes to having a kid, every single person says that it changes your life and it’s the most special thing in the world.
“Marriage has been such a tremendous aspect of my life, I cannot even imagine what being a parent is going to be like.”
Meredith would not give birth for another three-and-a-half weeks, plenty of time for Scheffler to add another jacket to his wardrobe with victory at the RBC Heritage.
