Presidents Cup 2024: Thursday fourball tee times and matches

Here are how the US and International teams will be lining up at Royal Montreal Golf Club for the Thursday Fourballs

Unlike the Ryder Cup, the Presidents Cup uses a “snake draw” format, with the captain from the defending champions, Jim Furyk in this case, going first. Mike Weir then selects second and third, with Furyk going fourth and fifth and so on till both sides have all five of their Thursday fourballs matches filled. This will leave two players on each side sitting out the opening day.

Both Weir and Furyk will repeat the process on Thursday evening to determine who will take part in Friday’s foursomes matches at Royal Montreal Golf Club.

Sitting out for the U.S.: Brian Harman and Max Homa. Sitting for the Internationals: Si Woo Kim and Mackenzie Hughes.

Thursday evening, the process begins anew, with the captains making their Friday foursomes picks. Again, there will be five matches and two players sitting out.
