After the success of the inaugural Creator Classic last year, your favorite social media stars will square up against each other three more times in the new season
The PGA Tour’s Creator Classic is back!
The tournament – which sees golf’s biggest YouTube stars and social media personalities compete over nine holes ahead of a tournament – proved to be a huge success when it debuted at East Lake prior to last year’s season-ending Tour Championship.
So huge, in fact, that the PGA Tour commissioned three more renewals for the coming year – starting at TPC Sawgrass for the Players Championship.
The second will be held before the Truist Championship – the tournament formerly sponsored by Wells Fargo – which, for this year, has moved to Philadelphia Cricket Club so its usual home at Quail Hollow can host the PGA Championship.
The third will see a return to East Lake for the FedEx Cup finale.
Players Championship Creator Classic

The first 2025 Creator Classic was a 10-player individual event played over holes 10-17 of the Stadium course at TPC Sawgrass. The top three in the leaderboard then went into a sudden-death playoff on the iconic par-3 17th.
Truist Championship Creator Classic
The second 2025 Creator Classic will take place on Wednesday May 7 at Philadelphia Cricket Club ahead of the Truist Championship…
Who’s in the field?
The field will be made up of 12 players including eight golf content creators and four content creators from other fields.
The golf content creators include Paige Spiranac Claire Hogle, Sabrina Andolpho of Golf Girl Games, Erik Anders Lang of Random Golf Club, Josh Kelley of @HoleIn1TrickShots, and a Good Good Golf trio of Brad Dalke, Sean Walsh and Matt Scharff.
What’s the format?
This one will a team event, with four three-player teams each including two golf creators and one non-golf creator.
They will play an eight-hole alternate shot competition over the back-nine at Philly Cricket’s Wissahickon course before the top two move on to a sudden death playoff.
Where can you watch?
If you have tickets for the Wednesday of Truist Championship week, then you can watch it in person.
Otherwise, it will be streamed live on the PGA Tour’s YouTube channel, as well as the Golf Channel, ESPN+, and the PGA Tour Channel, which can be accessed via a number of platforms including Amazon’s Prime Video.
The coverage will be produced by Pro Shop Studios – the team behind the Full Swing docuseries and Happy Gilmore 2.
