The Duels, they say, will be “a high-energy showdown, pairing six of LIV Golf’s biggest stars with six of the world’s most popular golf content creators”.

Here’s what we know about it so far…

What is The Duels’ format?

The Duels will feature six two-man teams made up of one pro and one creator competing in a nine-hole scramble.

When will it be?

The Duels will take place on April 5 ahead of LIV Golf Miami – the first US event of LIV’s 2025 season – at Trump National Doral.

Who’s taking part?

Grant Horvat will pair with Phil Mickelson – with whom he has history – while LIV’s very own Rick Shiels, the Bryan Bros, Fat Perez and Luke Kwon are also involved.

Kwon won the inaugural PGA Tour Creator Classic at East Lake last summer, while Horvat took the crown last month at TPC Sawgrass, where Fat Perez and George and Wesley Bryan – a PGA Tour player, remember – also took part.

Here’s the full line-up:

LIV Golf lineup for The Duels: Miami
  • Sergio Garcia and George Bryan
  • Bubba Watson and Luke Kwon
  • Joaquin Niemann and Rick Shiels
  • Phil Mickelson and Grant Horvat
  • Dustin Johnson and Wesley Bryan

Other names from the creator world, including Mason Nutt, Andrew Santino, Joey Cold Cuts and Bobby Fairways will provide the analysis on the ground.

Where can we watch it?

Interestingly, The Duels will be exclusively broadcast on Horvat’s YouTube channel.
