Who is Jason Day’s caddie?

He has clinched a major and ascended to the top of the world rankings during a stellar career, but who is Jason Day’s caddie?
Australia’s Jason Day is one of the most well-known players in the men’s game and currently has Luke Reardon on his bag.
Day experimented with several caddies after splitting with Colin Swatton in 2017, who also doubled as his coach for the majority of his career, but hired Reardon on a full-time basis in 2020.
Hailing from Stanthorpe, Queensland, Reardon is a childhood friend of Day’s, while the pair were also roommates at high school.
Day has returned to form in recent years after persistent injuries took their toll on the Australian, forcing him to repeatedly withdraw from tournaments and take several breaks from the tour.
However, after reconstructing his swing with the help of renowned instructor Chris Como, Day is now back in the world’s top 50.
Day’s father died when he was just 12 years old but Swatton, the former Kooralbyn International School golf coach, took him under his wing.
Swatton became a father-figure to Day, coaching and caddying the promising prospect.
And the pair enjoyed tremendous success together. Few could forget the emotional scene as Day burst into tears after tapping in to win his maiden major at the 2015 PGA Championship at Whistling Straits.
In fact, that year, Day went on an incredible run to vault to the top of the world rankings. But it couldn’t be sustained as injuries began to take their toll.
In 2017, Day and Swatton parted ways to preserve their personal relationship
“I never wanted it to turn into a toxic relationship where he’s taken me from where I am as a 12-year-old kid to where I am today, and I’m not talking to him anymore,” Day said of the move.
From there, the Australian dabbled with different caddies for a few season, including Tiger Woods’s former looper Steve Williams, before settling on Reardon.
