2025 Genesis Invitational prize money: How much each player earned at Torrey Pines
Last updated:

Here’s the full Genesis Open prize money breakdown as players battled it out for another whopping PGA Tour Signature Event payday.
Ludvig Aberg is $4 million richer after taking the top wedge from the 2025 Genesis Invitational prize money pot.
It was a thrilling finish to the third Signature event of the 2025 PGA Tour season, which moved 125 miles south from its spiritual home at Riviera Country Club to Torrey Pines in San Diego following the devastating wildfires that ravaged large areas of Los Angeles in January.
Aberg birdied four of the last six holes – including the 18th – to reach 12-under-par and beat Maverick McNealy, who had long been in the clubhouse thanks to a round-of-the-day 64, by a single stroke.
It means Aberg banks a LIV Golf-matching $4 million first prize, the same won in 2024 by Hideki Matsuyama. The Genesis Invitational awards $400,000 more to its champion than the tour’s first two Siganture events of the year – The Sentry and AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
The Genesis Invitational also awards an elevated 700 FedEx Cup points in addition to the inflated $20m purse that was distributed as follows…
