2025 Cognizant Classic prize money: How much each player won in The Palm Beaches
Last updated:
Here’s how the 2025 Cognizant Classic prize money was distributed on the PGA Tour.
The 2025 purse at The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches rose by $200,000 to $9.2m with winner Joe Highsmith taking home $1.656m in addition to 500 FedEx Cup points, a two-year PGA Tour exemption, and a coveted spot in the field for The Masters.
The victory was a first on the PGA Tour for Highsmith, who remarkably made the cut on the number, before going on to shoot 64-64 in the last two rounds to top Jacob Bridgeman and J.J. Spaun by two shots.
Fortunes went in reverse for early tournament leader Jake Knapp, however. After opening up with a 59 – just the 15th sub-60 in PGA Tour history – made an untimely triple bogey on Sunday, derailing his title hopes and consigning him to tie for sixth place.
