Who is Bryson DeChambeau’s caddie?

It was once thought of as one of the hardest jobs in professional golf, but who is Bryson DeChambeau’s caddie?
The man tasked with helping the Mad Scientist get from A to B in as few shots as possible is Gregory Bodine.
Bryson DeChambeau is one of the most famous figures in the game, having gained huge popularity since ditching the PGA Tour for LIV Golf and becoming a YouTube star.
But he is also one of the best golfers in the world. His world ranking might not reflect it, but there is no doubting DeChambeau’s credentials.
He won nine times on the PGA Tour before jumping ship to the breakaway circuit and has clinched two individual LIV titles to date.
Most notably, though, DeChambeau is a two-time US Open winner, having won his national championship at Winged Foot in 2020 and then again at Pinehurst in 2024.
He is known for his forensic approach to the game, famously using one-length irons and soaking his golf balls in Epsom salt to make sure each one he puts in play is perfectly balanced.
It’s little wonder, then, that he expects a lot from whoever is carrying his bag, and he has been through a few caddies in his short-ish career to date.
Who is Bryson DeChambeau’s caddie Gregory Bodine?
DeChambeau and Bodine started working together in May 2023 at the LIV Golf Tulsa event.
Bodine was previously on Tony Finau’s bag and won a PGA Tour event with the American before going on to have more success with DeChambeau.
The pair quickly notched their first win together at the LIV Golf Greenbrier event in 2023, where DeChambeau also made headlines for shooting an incredible 58.
Interestingly, Bodine is a cousin to PGA Tour players Andrew and Michael Putnam and helped launch Evergreen Golf Club in Seattle.
He and DeChambeau appear to have gone from strength to strength since they began working together and have won two individual LIV events and a US Open together.
In the early part of DeChambeau’s career, Tim Tucker was on his bag for nine years. The pair won the 2020 US Open together but their relationship appeared strained at times.
They split on the eve of DeChambeau’s Rocket Mortgage Classic defence in 2021, with Tucker later confirming it was an “intense” job and that it was “the best decision for both of us.”
Cobra Golf’s Tour Operations Manager Ben Schomin took over caddying responsibilities for the best part of two years before Bodine then joined Team DeChambeau.
