Bahrain Championship 2025: Purse and prize money payout as Canter wins
Last updated:
How was the prize money distributed at the 2025 Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship on the DP World Tour?
Englishman Laurie Canter secured his second DP World Tour victory at the Bahrain Championship, edging out Dan Brown and Pablo Larrazabal in a playoff. Canter birdied the first extra hole to become just the second player to etch his name into the tournament’s short history and claim the $425,000 winner’s cheque.
While the Bahrain Championship’s purse was some $17.5 million less than that on offer at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on the PGA Tour, there was far more than money at stake as the DP World Tour returned to the Kingdom of Bahrain for just the second time in 13 years.
In addition to the $2.5 million prize fund, the fourth leg of the DP World Tour’s ‘International Swing’ awarded 3,500 Race To Dubai points and another coveted 1,000 Ryder Cup points.
Here’s how much every player won in Euros at the Royal Golf Club.
