Bahrain Championship 2025: Everything you need to know about the DP World Tour event

The Bahrain Championship returns to the DP World Tour for its second edition.

The DP World Tour ‘International Swing’ continues at the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship.

The Bahrain Championship is the third event of the DP World Tour’s ‘International Swing’ and is the penultimate stop on the Persian Gulf before the Tour heads to Qatar for the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.

Last year’s inaugural edition, won by South African Dylan Frittelli, was the first elite golf event hosted in the country since 2011 when a 34-year-old Paul Casey lifted the Volvo Golf Champions tournament.

Frittelli returns to defend this year in a field also featuring Masters champion Patrick Reed, who continues his preparation for the 2025 LIV Golf season in the Middle East as an honorary lifetime member of the DP World Tour. Other stars teeing it up in Bahrain include Ewen Ferguson, Elvis Smylie, David Puig, Laurie Canter, Angel Hidalgo, and major champions Padraig Harrington and Jimmy Walker.

Dylan Frittelli uses an Odyssey Ai-ONE Milled Eleven putter.
