AIG Women’s Open 2024: Tee times and pairings for the final round as Jiyai Shin leads

The last round of the final major is upon us. Here’s the tee times and pairs for round four of the AIG Women’s Open at The Old Course.

To say the first two days of play at the AIG Women’s Open were windy is an understatement. Gusts of up to 40mph hit St Andrews on day one of the tournament, but that didn’t stop England’s Charley Hull from putting on a links masterclass.

Day two was a little less breezy. Scotland’s Catriona Matthew played her final Women’s Open round as she went on to miss the cut, and the ever so slightly calmer weather allowed World No.1 Nelly Korda to card a six-under par round to put her top of the leaderboard going into moving day, and what a moving day it was.

The weather improved and wind gusts dropped by around 10mph, but under par was still a score to be proud of at the Home of Golf. South Korea’s Jiyai Shin had an exceptional round of 5-under par round, moving her up the leaderboard and into contention, and despite opening with back-to-back bogeys, Nelly Korda continued her run of solid golf for the rest of the round.

Charley Hull dropped back down the leaderboard after taking a double-bogey on the par five fifth hole, and Olympic silver medal winner Esther Henseleit carded a 6-under round, taking her to 2-under for the tournament.

The leaderboard changed again towards the end of the day, with Nelly Korda carding four bogeys on the back nine to leave her two shots behind Jiyai Shin, and one behind defending champion Lilia Vu going into the final round.

One thing’s for sure, the AIG Women’s Open is still all to play for on the final day.
