WITB: Gary Woodland’s winning clubs

Find out what clubs Gary Woodland used to win the 2019 U.S Open at Pebble Beach

Gary Woodland beat defending champion Brooks Koepka by three shots on a thrilling final day to capture his first major victory, holing a 30-foot birdie putt at the last to finish at 13-under-par for the week.

Earlier this year, Woodland signed an equipment deal with Wilson Staff, but he still won his U.S. Open victory with a mixture of clubs in his bag.

His Ping G410 Plus driver saw him ranked 5th at the U.S Open in driving distance, and he couples it with a G410 LST fairway wood.

The irons in his bag are Wilson Staff Model Blades, which were the reason he signed a deal with the brand in January, having fallen ‘in love’. On Sunday, he led the field in Greens in regulation, and was ranked second in that category for the week – behind Brooks Koepka.

He also carries both a Titleist and TaylorMade wedge, and a Scotty Cameron putter, which he used to hole a 35 foot birdie putt on the final hole and finish 2nd in the SG: Putting stats for the tournament.

Below, find out what clubs he used to win his first major title.
