Australian PGA Championship: Find out how to watch and who to back
The European Tour took a break for the Presidents Cup at the spectacular Royal Melbourne last week, and returns this week for the final event of 2019 in Queensland.
Two of the International team – Adam Scott and defending champion Cameron Smith – are in the field, with Smith hoping to win for the third straight time. Last year, he shot a final-round 70 to defeat Marc Leishman by two strokes.

Adam Scott: 11/2
Although he missed the cut at the Australian Open, Scott has had four top 10s in his last eight starts – including three in a row at the end of the PGA Tour season. Has missed the cut the last couple of times out at Royal Pines, but won at this course in 2013 and finished 3rd in 2016. Went 2-2-1 in last week’s Presidents Cup.
Cameron Smith: 6/1
The two-time defending champion finished T27 at the Emirates Australian Open before going 1-1-1 at the Presidents Cup last week, earning a singles victory against Justin Thomas. He’s only had three top 10s since his victory last year, but one of those was at the CJ Cup at Nine Bridges, and his game is clearly suited to this course.
Jason Scrivener: 12/1
One of the most in-form players heading in to this week, following a T3 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, T10 at DP World Tour Championship and T13 Emirates Australian Open two weeks ago. T6-T15 here the last two years.
Cameron Champ: 14/1
Claimed his second PGA Tour victory at the start of the new season with a one shot win at the Safeway Open, and has since gone MC-T23-T33-T8. Making his first start at this event.
Ryan Fox: 25/1
Fox hasn’t cracked the top 10 anywhere since his victory at the ISPS Handa World Super 6 in February, but comes in here with four top 25s in his last six starts. Best of T9 here in 2016.
Brad Kennedy: 25/1
Coming off an outstanding run on the Japan Tour, which includes five top 10s in the last seven starts. Last teed up here in 2016, where he finished T31, and has a best of T4 among five top 15s.
