Porsche European Open: Find out how to watch, and who to back this week
With the PGA Tour taking another week break before beginning the 2019/2020 schedule, all eyes are on the European Tour as Xander Schauffele, Patrick Reed and Paul Casey all head to Germany for the Porsche European Open.
Last year, Richard McEvoy finally broke through for his maiden European Tour title with a final hole birdie at Green Eagle Golf Course in Hamburg, during what was his 285th European Tour event.

Xander Schauffele: 5/1
Comes to Europe after a runner-up finish at the Tour Championship, which was his fifth top 10 of the year. Making his debut in this event. Ranked 11th scoring average and SG: Tee to green on the PGA Tour this season.
Paul Casey: 6/1
Casey heads to Germany following his T3 at the Tour Championship, which was his seventh top 10 of the 2019 (including his win at the Valspar). He finished T7 here last year, and was ranked 4th for GIR, 6th SG: Tee to green, 8th SG: Approach and 9th for both Scoring average and SG: Off the tee on the PGA this season.
Patrick Reed: 13/2
Reed struggled in the final round last year but still finished T9, which was 10 spots up from his T19 in 2017 in Hamburg. Has a victory and no worse than a T32 in his last 10 starts on Tour, which includes victory at The Northern Trust. T9 in his last start at the Tour Championship. Ranked 14th SG: around the green and 21st Scoring average.
Matthias Schwab: 22/1
Back-to-back top 10s in his last two events on the European Tour: A T5 at the D+D Real Czech Masters, and a T8 last week in Switzerland. He was also T7 here last year. Ranks 11th SG: Around the green, 18th GIR, 27th SG: Tee to green and 30th for scoring average on the European Tour.
Rory Sabbatini: 25/1
Making his second European Tour start in a row after a T63 last week in Switzerland. Has had five top 10s this year, the latest being a T6 at the Wyndham Championship, which was followed by a T43 at the Northern Trust and T16 at the BMW Championship. Making his debut at this event. Ranked 29th for scoring average and 30th for SG: Around the green on the PGA Tour this season.
Adri Arnaus: 33/1
After winning the Challenge Tour finale last season Arnaus has notched up three runner-up finishes this season already on the European Tour – including a couple of weeks ago at the D+D Real Czech Masters. Finished T5 last week in Crans-sur-Sierre, and ranks 2nd SG: Off the tee, 5th GIR and 13th SG: Tee to green on the European Tour. Making his debut here this week.
Alexander Levy: 40/1
Missed the cut last week at the Omega European Masters but was T18 in Prague and had a T5 finish in Sweden the week before that. Excluding recent results Levy had struggled for the majority of the year, but he clearly likes this course – finishing 2nd here in 2017 and following it up with a T13 last year.
