How does it compare to other majors?

Awarded in dollars for the second year in a row, the prize fund is $500,000 smaller than The Masters, where winner Patrick Reed took home $1,980,000. It’s also smaller than the US Open, where Champion Brooks Koepka claimed $2,160,000 of a $12 million dollar purse in June.
