How to watch the PGA Championship on Eleven Sports

How to watch the PGA Championship on Eleven Sports in the UK & Ireland

For the first time in major history the fourth major of the year will move away from TV after talks with both Sky Sports and the BBC broke down prior to the event.

Instead, online-only channel Eleven Sports will be taking control of the broadcast for all four days of the PGA Championship, as well as showing the first two rounds Live on their Facebook Page.  You can watch through a desktop or by downloading their newly launched IOS and Android app.

You can watch the first two rounds on Facebook for free, but you have to sign up for a 7-day free-trial pass on their website to watch the rest (it will be on their website on all four days). However, in a similar set-up to Netflix, you have to enter your credit card details, and if you forget to cancel your subscription you will be charged a monthly fee of £5.99.

Replacing the regular Sky and BBC commentators for Eleven Sports are Dominik Holyer, Anna Whiteley and 2014 Ryder Cup star Jamie Donaldson, while online personality and host of ‘Seb on Golf’ Seb Carmichael-Brown will also join as a part of the team.

For a list of timings for coverage on Eleven Sports, read on below.

They will still have featured groups though. Originally they said they would be showing two per day until full coverage starts, but so far have announced one on each day.

Thursday: Feature Groups

14: 23 Justin Thomas (2), Rory McIlroy (19), Tiger Woods (47)

Friday: Feature Groups

14:12: Jordan Spieth (43), Jon Rahm (16), Justin Rose (3)
