Stars from stage, screen and sport turn out at The Open

Golf-loving celebrities took time out to visit the Open at Royal Troon this week including One Direction superstar Niall Horan.
And several of them put in an appearance at The Glenmorangie House Bar in the Spectator Village, taking part in a putting challenge event.
The fun competition proved a major attraction and saw former England footballers Alan Shearer and Martin Keown – now both TV pundits – battle it out on the green with 1969 Open champion Tony Jacklin and Harry Potter’s Phelps twins Oliver and James.
Winner of a keenly-fought contest was James Phelps, who won by holing two more putts than his fellow actor and brother. Each player had nine putts, 3 from 5 foot, 3 from 10 foot and 3 from 20 foot.
