Here’s the final list of players for Olympic Golf

Barely a day has passed during the last few months without another big-name player withdrawing from the Olympics. But a strong field still remains. With the Olympic Golf qualification period ending yesterday, we now have the final list of qualifiers. 

Despite Jordan Spieth’s last-minute withdrawal, Team USA looks favourite for a medal, with four players thanks to having four in the world top-15. No other country has more than two representatives. 

Team GB will be represented by Masters champion Danny Willett and Justin Rose.

The men’s tournament will begin on August 11, with the women’s competition starting on August 18. They will both take a 72-hole strokeplay format.
