Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson and Henrik Stenson – who will you pick for the USPGA?

Just days after departing Royal Troon, golf’s greatest have arrived at Baltusrol for the 98^th USPGA Championship.

The bookies can’t decide who to make favourite for the fourth, and final, major of the year with Dustin Johnson, Jason Day and Rory Mcllroy all priced at 8/1 with Open Champion Henrik Stenson not far behind at 14/1.

This year, with the inclusion of the Olympics on the PGA Tour schedule, the USPGA Championship is being played early adding to an already crowded schedule.

The Lower Course at Baltusrol Golf Club, Springfield, New Jersey Baltusrol has previously hosted used for seven US Opens, four US Amateurs and two US Women’s Opens.

2016 will be the second time it’s been used for the USPGA Championship; it was also held there back in 2005 when Phil Mickelson was victorious with a four-under-par total.

All four days are being shown live on Sky Sports starting at 19:00 on Thursday.

TG fantasy golf tips

Steve Striker, £5.5M

After an impressive fourth place finish at Royal Troon Golf Club, the American comes into the PGA in good form and at just £5.5M certainly represents good value for money and if he picks up where he left off in the Open it could be a great weekend for the 49-year-old.

Andrew Johnston, £5.5M

Beef captured hearts from across the country after a characterful display on the Scottish Coast and while he has recently been signing a sponsorship deal with sandwich restaurant chain Arby’s he is another who could do very well if he can bring his form the Open with him.

Rory McIlroy, £15M

Rory’s end of season report would probably sound something like a report from an old headmaster, “could do better” and while it is has been a frustrating season for the Irishman we know he can deliver when he turns his A game on and we think there is a good chance he will find it this week.

Henrik Stenson, £14.5M

The Iceman held this nerve to record one of, if the most, specular Open Championship victory on record and we are sure it will be the first of many majors for the Swede. His trusty three wood will come in handy on a challenging course and while it is a tough task to win back-to-back majors, inside two weeks of each other, if anyone can Henrik Stenson can.
