Today’s Golfer recently caught up with Charley Hull and here is a look at her career so far and plus she reveals when she first broke par and what she does when she’s not on the golf course.
After taking up golf aged two, Hull first caught the golfing world’s attention aged nine, when she won the Ladies Golf Union Championship in hurricane conditions at Turnberry.
Hull turned professional in 2013 and finished second in her first five tournaments as a pro, going on to finish sixth in the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit that season and was unsurprisingly, crowned Ladies European Tour Rookie of the Year for her efforts.
In August 2013, Hull was selected to compete in the 2013 Solheim Cup, becoming the youngest person ever to play in the tournament. Hull’s performance more than proved that she was worth a spot on the team; she secured two points for a victorious Europe, including a 5&4 singles win over Paula Creamer.
She won her first professional title in 2014, at the Lalla Meryern Cup in Morocco.

The 4-iron from around 185 yards that I hit in the play-off which helped me win my first European Tour victory (Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco).

First at Birkdale.
