Bryson DeChambeau prepared for Masters Sunday in the most Bryson DeChambeau way possible

Bryson DeChambeau isn’t like you or me. Or anyone else, for that matter…
Bryson DeChambeau prepares for golf tournaments in very different ways to… well, just about everyone else on the planet.
The Masters champion/hopeful – delete as appropriate depending on when you’re reading this – had already hit more balls than anyone this week.
On some practice days he was hitting upwards of 200 balls on Augusta National’s plush driving range, and he was the last one left hitting shots after each round.
After holing a lengthy birdie putt at the 54th hole on Saturday to cut Rory McIlroy’s lead to two, DeChambeau enjoyed the moment with the patrons crammed in around 18.
He then came in to tell reporters that he was going to go home and watch a James Bond film – “Pierce Brosnan era, of course.”
Turns out he instead opted for a stroll around the (presumably) plush Augusta neighborhood in which he is staying.
According to former PGA Tour player turned CBS analyst Colt Knost, it was while he was out and about gathering his thoughts that he stumbled across some golf fans putting in their back garden – one of whom just happened to be former NHL star Jeremy Roenick.
So DeChambeau did exactly what you would think he would do.
He joined them for an hour.
DeChambeau not only/may not have won the Green Jacket this week, but he won plenty of fans, too. (Again, delete as appropriate.)
