Seve Ballesteros has made it through his third operation successfully according to early reports from Spain. The 51-year-olds doctors confirmed that the six-and-a-half hour operation had achieved all its objectives and that Ballesteros was now in a stable condition. The operation successfully removed the remaining pieces of the malignant tumour and stopped bleeding and reduced swelling around his brain.
