Take on the Macmillan Cancer Support’s Longest Day Challenge

Four rounds, over 20 miles and one amazing cause

Want to feel good about your game? Round up a team of mates to play four rounds in 24 hours and get fundraising to support people with cancer.

Now in its 22nd year, Macmillan Cancer Support’s Longest Day Golf Challenge is one of the most anticipated events of the summer for thousands of club golfers – and the call is out to take part this year.

The official date (on the longest day of the year) is June 21, but any time between May and August is fine, too. You’ll need enough daylight to play 72 holes, but the more money you raise, the more you can help people living with cancer. Register before the end of June at longestdaygolf.macmillan.org.uk

And the team who raises the most money will win a holiday (including flights and accommodation) to Boavista Golf & Spa Resort in Portugal to take part in the Longest Day Golf Challenge Finals on November 3-6, 2022

Macmillan are also inviting participants to share photographs and videos of their build-up and from the day itself on social media. That can be via Twitter at @GolfMacmillan #longestdaygolf or on Facebook @macmillangolf
