Toptracer Range adds Old Course, St Andrews to Virtual Golf Mode

Ever fancied playing the Old Course in St. Andrews? Toptracer Range have introduced the historic course to their Virtual Golf Mode – meaning you now don’t even need to make the journey to the auld toon.

And now, the brand has added the Old Course at St Andrews to the ever growing list of world-class courses available to play in Toptracer Range’s ‘Virtual Golf’ mode at Toptracer Range locations- as long as you have a profile on the Toptracer Range Community App.
The Home of Golf, around for more than 600 years, is now available as a premium course at Toptracer Range locations, allowing the scenery and challenge of the Old Course at St Andrews to be experienced by players who possess a profile on the Toptracer Range Community app.
The announcement follows the news that the company have celebrated the 50th UK Toptracer Range installment at Forthview Golf Range, Falkirk – the 43rd to be installed in the last year.

In addition, the 11th hole at the Old Course at St Andrews will be the new marquee hole in the ‘Closest to Pin’ competition, providing golfers the opportunity to experience a challenging Par 3 at the famous course.

Data is instantly recorded and displayed on the screen through a player profile that can continuously be accessed through the Toptracer Range community application (free on iOS and Android).
50th UK install for Toptracer Range
Forthview Golf Range, Falkirk, has become the 50th facility in the UK to join the Toptracer Range revolution.
The first installation of Toptracer Range (then, Protracer) took place at New Malden (World of Golf) in 2012. A series of test sites followed when TopGolf purchased Protracer, from which, the company officially began to roll out its new Toptracer range technology to facilities globally. Since January 2018, 43 golf facilities in the UK have installed Toptracer Range technology.
