Macmillan Cancer Support’s Longest Day Golf Challenge 2017

Macmillan Cancer Support’s Longest Day Golf Challenge is back for 2017 – and you and your mates could win the chance to tee off in the Algarve if you enter!

The idea remains simple – get together with three team mates and tackle four rounds of golf in one day. Take advantage of the longest day of the year on Wednesday 21st June to play 72 holes in one day, all to support people affected by cancer.

If the 21st doesn’t work for you, you can do it any other date that might suit you – just remember it’s going to be a long day!

You’ll need all your strength, (super) powers and drive to overcome the 72 holes, 300 shots and 20 mile walk involved in the challenge. Seek sponsorship for your challenge and you could swing your way to the prestigious Longest Day Golf Challenge final in the Algarve, Portugal, in autumn 2017.

The four teams that have raised the most sponsorship money by the 4th September 2017 will quality for the finals of the Longest Day Golf Challenge which will take place at Boavista Golf Resort on the Algarve in Portugal on 13th – 15th October 2017.

Last year’s event saw over 3,000 teams tee off and raise over £1.5million for Macmillan Cancer Support. Now it’s your turn to grab your awesome ‘fore-some’ and tackle 72 holes in a day for Macmillan.
