Tiger Woods withdraws from PGA Championship

It will be the first time in his career that Tiger will miss all four majors in a calendar year.
Woods last played a PGA Tour event in August 2015, when he finished tied for 10th at the Wyndham Championship.
A statement from the PGA said, “We have been in contact with Tiger’s agent, Mark Steinberg, and he informed us today that our four-time PGA Champion will be unable to join us at Baltusrol Golf Club next week for the 98th PGA Championship.”
Tiger has not lifted a major trophy since his one-legged victory in the 2008 U.S. Open and question of everyone’s lips is not if not when we will see him back in action again.
The PGA Championship will be played July 28-31 at Baltusrol Golf Club in, New Jersey.
