The Deutsche Bank Championship is one of the youngest events on the PGA Tour but there is plenty riding on the second leg of the FedEx Cup playoff series.
Due to a public holiday in the States the tournament runs from Friday to Monday instead of the traditional Thursday to Sunday.
The Arnold Palmer-designed TPC Boston is hosting the tournament with Rickie Fowler heavily backed to regain his title.
Getting up and down is key on this course and short game will play an important part in shaping the leader board over the weekend.
A sluggish start can be overcome on this course so don’t be surprised to see a late charge from those on the fringes after the first round.
