TaylorMade reveals three new sets for kids

To ensure kids get the best start in the game TaylorMade have launched three new sets to promote proper swing mechanics.

TaylorMade have revealed a new family of junior clubs aimed at introducing players to the game and aiding the correct swing mechanics. Through the brand’s extensive work with tour stars like Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, and Brooke Henderson the brand reckons they’ve created the best package sets available for kids as their offering also includes access to a suite of tips, tricks, and drills to help jumpstart your youngster’s journey into the game.

If your little one is between 4 and 12 years old and wants to be the next Open Champion or is just looking to get into the game three different sets cater to kids from 42” to 59” tall. Each set contains all the necessary clubs (bags and headcovers are also included) needed to get out onto the course and start enjoying the game.

Everything you need to know about the TaylorMade 2024 Junior Sets

Both the Size 2 and Size 3 sets come with a 400cc 17° Titanium driver designed by the same engineers who create the best drivers, and best irons for Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Masters champ Scottie Scheffler. With a large flexible face and low center of gravity, the model is designed for maximum distance and forgiveness.

Each club within the set is also designed at the correct weight, length, and loft to promote good basic fundamentals, which will prevent any child from adopting poor technique that arises from using badly fitted equipment from an early age.

The new fairway woods and hybrids feature low-profile faces, ample loft, and a low center of gravity to make the clubs as easy to hit as possible.  The irons and wedges are also designed for high launch, playability, and ultimately to promote fun on the golf course. Like TaylorMade’s 2024 Qi irons, the junior models come with inverted cone technology, plus a flexible face and lightweight components.

Compared to the brand’s brilliant P790 irons at 270g, the Junior 7-iron ranges from 248g to 205g depending on the age and height of your child. The putter also comes in at 317g which is 33g lighter than the average Spider Tour putter (350g), so the whole set has been optimized for the strength and speed of younger players.

To match the clubs each set comes with a stand bag and headcover, which have been designed to coordinate as a unisex family. The bag is water and stain-resistant with a large golf ball pocket, water bottle holder, and an adjustable double strap to make it easy to carry like mum or dad’s.
