Even before they were acquired by Callaway, TravisMathew had been making big strides in the golf clothing space. With their new signing, Akshay Bhatia, TravisMathew are proving they stand in the elite-level of golf apparel.
TravisMathew’s new addition to its brand ambassador line-up perfectly fits the company’s image. With a design inspired by SoCal’s relaxed yet active lifestyle, TravisMathew leads the way in creating confident and capable clothing that makes playing in any weather a joy thanks to a coupling of superior comfort with innovative styling for the course.
Today, they announced that Akshay Bhatia will represent the brand on the golf course at his 2025 events and beyond, combining Akshay’s relaxed but purposeful personality and golf game with one of the companies at the forefront of innovation in the game.
Bhatia, a two-time PGA Tour winner, has been lighting up the professional scene with his impressive speed and outstanding resilience, all while maintaining a cool, calm demeanor that has been inspiring both younger and older golfers the world over.
Representative of the next generation of talent at the game’s elite level, Akshay turned professional at just 17 years old. Since then, he’s earned multiple wins, building up through minor tours such as the Korn Ferry Tour, until he secured his PGA Tour card by taking victory in a playoff at the 2023 Barracuda Championship.
He also won last year in Texas at the Valero Open to earn his second title on tour and stamp even more authority on his future prospects in the game.
Whatever is to come in 2025, though, Akshay Bhatia will look forward to continuing his already impressive young career in style with the stylish collection provided by his friends at TravisMathew.
