Duca del Cosma reveal performance-enhancing, eco-friendly golf shoes

Duca del Cosma’s 2021 SS21 golf shoes collection is the brand’s most technologically advanced and eco-friendly range ever.

Duca, the golf footwear brand that combines stylish Italian designs with top-quality materials and expert handcrafting, have unveiled their most advanced shoe range with 22 new premium styles for men and women in a host of daring colours.

The athletic Tomcat and Wildcat (RRP £159.95) pairing spearhead the collection and incorporate the new Airplay XII outsole that demonstrates Duca Del Cosma’s commitment to sustainability.

This innovatively engineered outsole is made from recyclable rubber and has 2-Way-Twist triangular nubs on the pivot point for an extra smooth transition in the swing. Cone-shaped nubs ensure optimum grip and the B-Light rubber outsole delivers a lightweight feel.

The Airplay IV outsole – another innovation applied to several SS21 shoes – features strategically positioned functional nubs that are paired with an EVA cushioning system for a sturdy grip and guaranteed comfort.

OnSteam technology provides waterproof protection in the inner lining and features a new 100% breathable, recyclable microfibre that offers the feel of leather, but with the absorption capacity eight times its weight in water. Maximum comfort is achieved with a temperature-regulating effect that keeps the foot dry in all weather conditions.

New models across the Duca Del Cosma’s men’s range of golf shoes include the waterproof Kingscup, classic Elpaso and Valderama shoes, sporty Kuba 2.0, plus modern Kubaneo line. Additions to the Women’s range are the contemporary Queenscup and chic Atlantis model.

Designed to provide a striking look both on and off the course, the competitively priced Kingscup and Queenscup shoes (£129.95) are hand crafted using recyclable microfibre for superb comfort. Incorporating the lightweight ARNEFLEX insole and breathable OnSteam waterproof lining, both models also feature an Airplay III outsole to deliver extra traction and stability.

The stylish Elpaso (£179.95) adds a modern twist to a traditional golf shoe. A 100% Nappa leather upper provides superior comfort, while recyclable microfibre in the sock system and insole gives the shoe an eco-friendly update. Both the OnSteam lining and ARNEFLEX insert sole provide waterproofing and breathability, while the spikeless Airplay XI outsole adds a striking modern look.

Like its namesake, the Valderama (£179.95) is aimed at the elite golfer and features a soft Italian Nappa leather upper for a superior fit, an ARNEFLEX insert sole for comfort, plus the waterproof sock system with OnSteam® recyclable microfiber to ensure feet remain dry. The recyclable Airplay IV outsole delivers superb traction while playing.

The Kuba 2.0 shoe (£179.95) draws on the brand’s stylish Italian heritage and is an upgraded version of the best-selling Kuba model. Made from Nappa leather, the sporty shoe features the highly breathable OnSteam® waterproof lining, recyclable Airplay IV outsole and ARNEFLEX insert sole for unrivalled stability and comfort

The Kubaneo (£179.95) is a modern take on the classic Kuba model and delivers a bold look both on and off the course. Crafted from soft Italian Nappa leather, the fully waterproof shoe incorporates an Aqua stop lining and ARNEFLEX insert sole, plus a heel support and Airplay IV sole made from recycled materials for a comfortable fit.

The stylish Siren (£169.95) in the Women’s range is crafted using soft Italian Nappa leather and delivers unparalleled looks for wear both on and off the course. With OnSteam lining and an ARNEFLEX insert sole, the waterproof shoe ensures feet remain dry and comfortable throughout the day. The shoe also features the new Airplay XII outsole.

The upper of the chic Atlantis shoe (£169.95) is reminiscent of undersea coral thanks to the texture on the soft Italian Nappa leather. Featuring a fully waterproof interior and Airplay IX outsole, the Atlantis is designed to add a little sparkle to any golfing outfit.

Retained 2020 models in Duca Del Cosma’s men’s collection include the award-winning Belair (£159.95), classic Eldorado (£179.95), the spiked Heritage and Masters (£199.95), plus the distinctively athletic Flyer (£179.95) and supremely comfortable Monterosso (£140) shoes for on and off the course.

Among the standout women’s shoes being carried over are the striking Kubana and Pose models (£179.95), animal print Marquessa (£169.95) and King Cheetah (£179.95), plus the spiked Cypress shoe (£189.95). The popular Festiva (£129.95) is also continued with the addition of yellow and red colourways.
