Scottsdale Golf are revolutionising the way custom-fitted clubs are purchased with the opening of a high-tech fitting centre.
We might not all be able to hit it like a Tour pro, but we can now at least be treated like one.
Scottsdale Golf have just opened a new Performance & Build centre on the outskirts of Warrington, bringing a level of club-fitting to the average golfer that has previously been reserved for the stars of the world’s professional tours.

The purpose-built centre in Cheshire has been several years in the making and Scottsdale Golf founder, Lee Duff, is understandably delighted with the result.
The inside of the new facility is spacious yet chic and houses the latest in technology and the absolute best in workshop machinery.
Highly experienced professionals provide the necessary expertise, ensuring every single customerreceives the ultimate in custom-fitting.
Officially opened by Ryder Cup player Tyrrell Hatton at the end of 2020, it is a superb destination for any golfer who has even the slightest interest in equipment or improving their golf. For true equipment aficionados it will be a small slice of heaven.
Finding the ideal equipment for your swing has previously been a hit and miss affair, often turning into a frustrating and expensive cycle of trial and error. Scottsdale Golf’s new custom-fitting centre looks set to change that, instantly becoming an absolute must for anyone wanting to take their golf game to the next level.
What makes Scottsdale Golf different?
Scottsdale Golf’s mantra is ‘Fit – Build – Play’, and unlike many slogans, it’s not marketing fluff. When you arrive at Scottsdale’s new facility you know that when the session is completed, you will be walking back out of the door with your new, fully custom fitted clubs under your arm.
That’s right – you walk away with your new, fully custom fitted clubs on the same day, ready for play.
You receive your comprehensive fitting, then relax with a coffee – or something stronger from the in-house bar – and wait for your clubs to be built by the workshop technicians.
You even get to watch these skilled craftsmen work on your new precious metal as their superb workshop is in the centre of the facility.

What’s in Scottsdale Golf’s new centre?
This is a custom-fitting facility designed to not only ensure you walk way with the best clubs for your game, but to also make that experience a highly pleasurable one. Scottsdale Golf want to make the day you bought your new clubs a memorable one… for all the right reasons.
As you enter their Performance & Build centre you will be wide-eyed at the rows of clubs beautifully presented on gleaming white backgrounds. Every major manufacturer is well represented, with full ranges of their latest clubs hanging enticingly in their own respective sections.
There is even a screen within every section playing an information video about each manufacturer’s clubs. This treasure trove of clubs is right next to the club-build workshop, with two spacious custom-fitting bays found a little further down.
It is in these bays that the master-fitters will guide customers through the custom fit process. As you hit balls in the simulator-style bays, the latest Foresight GC Quad launch monitors comprehensively analyse your game to provide the fitters with all the data they need to help you make an informed choice.
The shaft options available to test are particularly impressive, with a vast selection ranging from non-upcharge stock shafts to some of the finest exotic shafts on the market.
There is an equally impressive selection of head components to test, with multiple options to suit every level of golfer.
Scottsdale Golf have invested in an innovative fitting system that allows them to put any shaft into any head for testing, regardless of the usual adapter style.
There is an indoor putting area hosting a large collection of the latest putters.
The industry leading ‘Sam Putt Lab’ analysis machine is used to provide customers with all the data they need to make an informed choice.

The build process
Whether you choose Callaway, TaylorMade, PXG, Miura, Titleist, Cleveland, Srixon, Vega, Cobra or Mizuno, once you’ve made your choice, Scottsdale’s technicians immediately get to work on building your new clubs.
The Scottsdale craftsmen have all been trained by the manufacturer to ensure your clubs are assembled with the utmost precision and quality. Watching them build, adjust and refine your bespoke clubs is fascinating, and the excitement of getting your hands on your new clubs builds as the process draws to a close.
“My vision for the facility is to raise the bar with what a consumer should expect when buying new clubs, whether that be a new driver or their full bag,” says Scottsdale Golf founder Lee Duff.
“We have the best in fitting technology, we have the best club-building machinery, and we have experienced fitters trained to the highest-possible levels. And you can watch your clubs being ‘born’ in front of your eyes.
“Your appointment is an experience you’ll never forget, especially that moment when you walk out of the door with your new custom-fitted, hand-built clubs.”
